He said that he decided not to hold an elaborate ceremony with all staff due to the Covid 19 pandemic but noted that he received tremendous love and support from the staff during his over 20 years in the Board.

He said that he wished the Federal Government could consider and appoint a substantive Executive Secretary from among qualified members of staff who really understand the challenges of the Board rather than bringing someone from outside.

He acknowledged that with his wealth of experience and exposure in the TVET sector he has no doubt that his successor; Egr Muhammad can do very well if given the appointment as substantive Executive Secretary of the Board.
